USE OF THIS SYSTEM BY ANY USER, AUTHORIZED OR UNAUTHORIZED, CONSTITUTES CONSENT TO THIS AUDITING, INTERCEPTION, RECORDING, READING, COPYING, CAPTURING, AND DISCLOSURE OF COMPUTER ACTIVITY.

As a user of the DOE Operating Experience (DOE OPEXSHARE), your access to this system and its data is granted based on certain expectations as listed in the following Rules of Behavior. The purpose of Rules of Behavior is to inform all DOE OPEXShare users of certain information system security requirements that are important in protecting DOE OPEXShare and its data.

The following rules are intended to highlight certain security requirements pertaining to DOE OPEXShare and its data. Additional requirements such as DOE O 471.1B, Identification and Protection of Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information and DOE O 471.3 Chg 1, Identifying and Protecting Official Use Only Information, can be found in the DOE Directives, Regulations, and Standards system at http://www.directives.doe.gov.

Reportable security incidents generally meet at least one, but not limited to the following criteria:

• All suspected and proven attempts at unauthorized access, regardless of whether or not they are successful;
• Any unauthorized disclosure of information that is released from control to entities that do not require the information;
• Any unauthorized disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information (PII);
• Instances of abnormal behavior within the web application; and, instances involving a user who is in violation of these General Users/End Users Rules of Behavior. If an employee violates DOE and/or the Office of the Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) security policy, the employee may be subject to disciplinary action at the discretion of DOE, EHSS, and/or their employer’s management.

All users of DOE OPEXShare including the systems developers and technical supporting staff, must comply with the following:

• DOE OPEXShare users are subject to EHSS cybersecurity audit;
• Classified data is not permitted on the DOE OPEXShare system databases, and should not appear on DOE OPEXShare screens or reports;
• DOE OPEXShare system and its data are accessed by personnel after proper approval is granted;
• Protection of PII data should be done in accordance with DOE O 206.1 Chg1;
• Sharing personal authentication (e.g., password, identification devices, etc.) with other personnel is not permitted;

Upon the discovery of a security-related incident, the employee shall immediately stop work, report the security incident(s) (suspected or actual) to their management and contact the EITS Service Desk by phone at (301) 903-2500, toll free at (866) 834-6246, or by email at EITS.ServiceDesk@hq.doe.gov.
